Job Description:

Sr. Infrastructure Engineer - Azure / Windows

Location: Hybrid 3 days on site per week

Type: 6 month + Contract

For Immediate Hire

Responsibilities:

  • As an Azure Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, availability, and security of our cloud-based systems
  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and network security groups
  • Deploy and configure Azure resources using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and high availability of IT systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Implement backup and recovery solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to define and develop cloud infrastructure strategy, architecture, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure the smooth integration and operation of Azure services
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 7+ years of experience as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services and technologies, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and network security groups
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and load balancing
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Azure CLI, or PowerShell
  • Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in Azure, including IAM, network security, and encryption
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services.
  • Understanding of network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, load balancing).
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Nice to Have:
  • Certifications in Azure Cloud and Windows Server are a plus.
