Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Sr. Compliance Software Engineer position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be Hybrid, in either Anaheim, CA or Glendale, CA for a duration of 6 month +, with a potential to go direct with client. The pay rate would range from $85 - $97 per hour.
The Compliance Software Engineer will:
Support implementation of special projects related to compliance activities as assigned.
Collaborate with engineering and regulatory management teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met using tools within platform
Support architectural design sessions, and proof of concept design sessions as technical advisor, deliverables include architecture diagrams that take compliance requirements into consideration.
Participate in audits & assessments, both regulatory and internal business and ensure compliance with established policies, standards and procedures.
Identify implementation gaps and participate in creating solutions to bridge the gaps. In some cases, you'll drive the implementation of solutions, in others you will be part of a team that designs and implements solutions.
What you'll bring
Awareness of technical features and experience in deployment of Data Protection/GRC related tools e.g. IAM tools, security management tools and PETs
Familiarity with big data warehouses (Snowflake, Data Bricks)
Familiarity with Governance Tools (Alation, BigID, Immuta and Anomalo)
Knowledge of evaluating and assessing non-compliance risks across a variety of environments and industries.
Collaborative work style; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to the immediate organization.
Innovation mind frame coupled with an agile approach.
This team is establishing a new approach to governance by design and nimbleness in design thinking and implementation is central to success in the role.
Familiar with compliance standards e.g. ISOs, NIST, HIPAA
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or Equivalent
