Role Overview: EDI Coordinator
Purpose:
The EDI Coordinator plays a vital role in our corporate customer service team, ensuring seamless coordination and support of all EDI Trading Partners. This position is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our EDI processes, which support our business operations. The role is open to support our growing network of trading partners and enhance our customer service capabilities.
Role Responsibilities:
Process 850, 860, 855, and 940 EDI documents in our ERP system.
Troubleshoot and research EDI transaction errors, communicating with internal teams and customers to resolve issues promptly.
Apply profound knowledge in EDI data related to charge-backs.
Check EDI orders in troubled status and coordinate with 3PLs on 9 series documents.
Partner with the EDI Analyst in the IT department to address customer EDI-related operational inquiries, including missing, rejected, and invalid data.
Monitor and manage all inbound control tables.
Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by management.
Role Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Strong understanding of EDI processes.
Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of existing software systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong team player willing to collaborate across different departments, including virtual collaboration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding and knowledge of distribution (preferred).
Highly developed planning and organizational abilities.
Ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
Experience with drop ship customers.
Experience with Blue Cherry ERP (preferred).
