Role Overview
Kroger is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support a pivotal project. As key stakeholders in this initiative, Kroger is transitioning from a legacy system to a new format, relying heavily on data-driven insights to validate improvements and drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
Compile and analyze data to formulate business strategies and prioritize project initiatives.
Conduct gap analysis and process mapping to optimize procedures and workflows.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Kroger's technology team, to ensure project alignment and success.
Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources to provide cohesive insights.
Present findings through clear and compelling data visualizations and reports.
Key Skills Required
Strong SQL Foundation: Proficiency in SQL is essential for data extraction and analysis.
Power BI: Minimum 2 years of experience in developing robust dashboards and reports, preferably in a professional environment. Samples of previous Power BI work are highly recommended.
Advanced Excel: Mastery of Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful conclusions.
Qualifications
Experience with process mapping and familiarity with Six Sigma principles (Green Belt certification is advantageous).
Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
Organized approach to data analysis and reporting.
