As an Electronic Transaction Specialist, you'll ensure our EDI/cXML/FlatFile processes are accurate, reliable, and efficient. Your job involves designing, implementing, and maintaining quality control measures to keep our electronic data transmissions spot on. Your technical skills and attention to detail will make sure we exchange electronic documents smoothly with our partners, boosting our business operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance: Develop and execute quality assurance strategies for processes, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic transactions, including document mapping, translation, and data transformation. Identify and fix any issues in data exchange.
Error Analysis and Troubleshooting: Quickly investigate and resolve electronic transaction errors. Work with IT, operations, and customer service teams to find root causes and prevent future issues.
Compliance and Standards: Stay current with industry regulations and communication standards like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and cXML. Ensure we meet compliance requirements such as HIPAA, EDIINT AS2, or GDPR.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, including technical specs, workflows, and SOPs. Keep records of test plans, test results, and issue resolutions.
Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and offer ongoing support to end-users. Help them understand and effectively use the system, address their queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Performance Monitoring: Develop tools and metrics to track the performance and reliability of electronic transaction processes. Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.

Electronic Transaction Errors: Process electronic transaction errors daily, communicate with teams to update mappings, and investigate trends to find resolutions.
Flat File Processing: Ensure flat files are processed on schedule and contain valid data.
Health Dashboards: Design and build system health dashboards to provide real-time information on transaction processing. Collaborate with teams as needed to gather data and resolve exceptions.
