What You'll Do:
Lead safety design modifications and enhancements for equipment and facilities.
Conduct thorough safety investigations and implement corrective actions.
Develop, document, and enhance preventive maintenance programs to boost equipment availability and throughput.
Utilize cutting-edge predictive maintenance techniques like vibration analysis and thermo-graphic imaging to improve equipment reliability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and production loss, including being available for "on-call" support.
Analyze production delay data to refine preventive maintenance tasks and drive continuous improvement projects.
Prepare and evaluate equipment failure/root cause analysis reports, driving corrective actions and enhancements to preventive maintenance programs.
Develop cost justifications for improvement projects and corrective actions.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel, production teams, and external contractors to minimize cost and production impacts.
Assess critical spare parts and standardize parts inventory to streamline operations.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures, training, and skill development programs.
Establish performance metrics to foster long-term continuous improvement aligned with departmental objectives.
Provide problem-resolution support to accelerate improvements and enhance working relationships.
Engage in Project Engineering duties and step in for Supervisors or Department Managers when needed.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Strong background in Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in Maintenance Engineering or Maintenance Supervision.
Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repairs with expertise in a specific engineering discipline.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve equipment failures effectively.
Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Training in various maintenance disciplines such as hydraulics, welding, and machining.
Proven leadership skills with a track record of achieving results through teamwork.
Knowledge of TOC/Lean Manufacturing principles.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
