We are looking for a Civil Engineer Team Leader who has experience working with key transportation clients: DOTs, Toll Roads. This is a full-time position with benefits included (3 weeks paid time off; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; LTD; STD; Life Insurance; 401K).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with a multi-discipline team of engineers in the design of roadway transportation and civil projects.
Design, develop, and create plans in a timely matter.
Prepare plans and designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, and drawings.
Performs tasks requiring applications of standard civil engineering techniques and procedures.
Use design software to accurately render and communicate designs; plans and designs other necessary and related systems and structures such as transportation or hydraulics.
Standard design of civil project work.
Serve as a team leader on multi-disciplined projects.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work as a part of a multi-discipline teams of engineers
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines while working on multiple projects concurrently.
Knowledge of design software including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
The potential to lead a small group of junior engineers is required for Civil Engineer Lead position.
Education and Experience:?
Licensure as a professional engineer (PE) and a minimum of 7 years of experience are required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required (preferred emphasis in civil roadway transportation engineering).
