We're looking for a Client Accounting and Billing Specialist to handle tasks like pre-bill distribution, invoice processing, and electronic submissions, ensuring everything is done accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
Key Tasks:
Handle pre-bill distribution and invoice processing
Manage work-in-process and inventory
Submit, revise, and resolve disputes electronically
Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines
Take on other tasks as needed
Quality and Compliance: Meet quality and accuracy standards and follow department policies.
Client Support: Address client and third-party inquiries quickly and effectively.
Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with both written and oral presentations.
Team Collaboration: Work well with team members, the accounting and finance group, and other departments.
Qualifications:
Education:
Required: Associate degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience:
At least 3 years in a high-volume revenue department, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Skills:
Solid understanding of revenue accounting and legal billing
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and able to use Elite and DTE | Intapp Time
Good at managing multiple tasks and handling high workload with minimal errors
Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills
Effective communicator, courteous and tactful with clients and vendors
Efficient and timely in task completion
