The Technical Services Manager in the Facilities Engineering Services department is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing manufacturing processes and technologies that enhance product quality and cost efficiency. This role involves coordinating with manufacturing, product engineering, and regional teams to address and resolve quality and manufacturing issues and to promote the standardization of foundry technology globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultural and Safety Promotion: Advocate for company values, safety standards, and continuous safety improvements.
Project Leadership: Lead or support initiatives related to new business acquisitions, major facility transitions, and continuous improvement efforts.
Quality Assurance: Drive quality improvements across all stages of production to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Standardization: Collaborate with regional leaders to standardize policies, processes, and technology across all facilities globally.
Expertise Development: Stay updated on industry trends and provide technical guidance in critical manufacturing technologies.
Facility Support: Support major facility design and engineering projects, ensuring best practices in safety, quality, and technology.
Supervisory Duties: Oversee staff in line with organizational policies, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and resolving complaints.
