Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Project Estimator at Assets Construction. As a Commercial Project Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects, analyzing project requirements, and preparing and receiving accurate project bids. This role involves collaborating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates and timely project delivery. You will be based in Atlanta, GA, with flexibility for some remote work as well as site visits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or comparable experience
Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the commercial construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes
Proficient in estimating software and tools
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication, organization and negotiation skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience with commercial construction projects and cost control is preferred
