The Construction Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role by providing essential administrative support to the project team.

The Project Coordinator will be involved in coordination and communication, ensuring that construction project milestones are met efficiently and effectively from an administrative perspective. The ideal candidate will communicate with project managers, clients, and team members, and contribute to the project's success through general oversight and execution of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely completion of construction projects.
  • Manage and maintain an administrative schedule for project tasks.
  • Execute instructions from the Project Manager promptly and efficiently.
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of project records.
  • Draft routine correspondence and manage outgoing communications.
  • Organize and upkeep files, correspondence, and other project-related records.
  • Support the project team with various administrative tasks.
  • Oversee project close-out procedures, including the collection and submission of warranty information, operation, and maintenance manuals to the Project Owner and Architect.

Skills and Specifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an office team environment.

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a project coordinator, project manager, or administrative role within a construction company.
  • Familiarity with Project Management software, and MS Office.
  • Understanding of the construction industry is highly advantageous.
