Job Description:

Role Overview: As an Air Quality Consultant, you will provide expert consulting services across various industries, including but not limited to rail, cement plants, chemical plants, painting and coatings, and the food and beverage sector. Your role will involve managing diverse air quality projects and ensuring regulatory compliance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee new source review (NSR), non-attainment NSR, Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), and Title V permitting processes.
  • Conduct emission calculations and develop emissions inventories.
  • Perform regulatory applicability analyses for local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Carry out air quality compliance audits.

Required Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations pertaining to air quality tasks, projects, and client operations.
  • Technical expertise to address complex permitting and compliance challenges and accurately scope new projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to execute project work and provide senior technical oversight.
  • Capability to mentor and train team members.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism and social skills to foster long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with software and tools relevant to air quality projects (e.g., AERMOD, ArcGIS, AP-42, Promax).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in engineering or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in air quality consulting, with at least 2 years in project management.
  • Solid understanding of engineering concepts, including chemical processes and emissions control technologies.
  • High level of professional ethics and integrity.
