Job Description:

A prestigious climate technology product manufacturer focused in sustainable energy, is looking for a Workplace Experience Specialist to join their team! This is a temporary, non-exempt, in-person position located at their headquarters in Alameda, California. As an integral member of the team, you will ensure the day-to-day operations are seamless, so that your coworkers can focus on their mission of creating a more sustainable future. If you are dependable, collaborative, organized, and have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and deploying innovative solutions in the workplace, then this role is for you!

**This is a contract role, pay will be $30-35/hr**

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a warm and hospitable atmosphere at the front desk, checking in guests.
  • Ensure office operations and procedures are in place and functioning, office supplies are stocked, and office machines are working.
  • Work interdepartmentally to maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment. Identify and coordinate vendors for repairs and changes, when needed.
  • Develop a process to prioritize, delegate, complete, and follow-up on requests to ensure coworkers have what they need to be productive. Solicit regular feedback via surveys, focus groups, and informal polling.
  • Handle inventory, ordering, and stocking processes.
  • Organize company-wide events.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2- 5 years of facilities, office management, or hospitality management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient Mac and Google Suite user.
  • Able to move around the office to access file cabinets, conference rooms, and office machinery, as well as reach low shelves/items on the floor. Able to lift and move packages, boxes, and office equipment.
  • Experience using Asana, survey platforms, and ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Thrives in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer-services oriented
  • Ability to work independently to solve problems while always remaining professional and positive.
