Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for these clients. Your portfolio of clients will primarily consist of operating partnerships and S-Corps, small C-Corporations, and high net worth tax individuals.
Timely final review and delivery of federal and state income tax compliances, including quarterly estimates.
Assist with federal and state audits, including correspondence, compilation of data requests, and audit coordination.
Liaison with our India team/India-based subcontractor regularly for the execution of tax compliances.
Manage risk and performance of engagements, which may include project budgets, resource planning, status, and financial metrics.
Participate in and contribute to marketing and business development activities of the firm.
Qualifications & Experience:
8+ years in public accounting firms combined with advanced academic qualifications; active CPA (current and valid license required).
Strong technical skill in federal and multi-state taxation.
Strong experience in tax compliances for business owners/high net worth individuals and corporates (passthrough and C-Corp).
Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools, including hands-on experience with advanced Excel features, Thomson Reuters GoSystems, and tax research applications.
Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
Demonstrate problem-solving ability along with attention to detail and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
