What will you be doing?

Talent Consultant in this role will have two primary areas of accountability:
  • Business Development - generating a sales pipeline of prospective clients and converting leads into active clients.
  • Account Management - managing and growing the delivery of direct-hire recruitment services to our clients.

Business Developers:
  • Conduct market research, developing lists of target clients and projects within high-potential sectors, and proactively reaching out to prospective client contacts.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls with key contacts to understand their goals and challenges, qualifying them as potential clients of Shirley Parsons.
  • Develop relationships with potential and existing clients, regularly communicating with key stakeholders to maintain an up-to-date understanding of their needs.
  • Make appropriate referrals to colleagues in other business lines, regions, or sectors.
  • Contribute to the marketing of our services through online media and in-person events.

Client Managers:
  • Provide clients with expert insights and practical guidance on specific job requirements, including Recruiters on client briefing calls whenever possible.
  • Post active job assignments to online job boards and social media.
  • Coach Recruiters through all stages of recruitment: candidate search, selection, and assessment; resume preparation and submittal; interview preparation and feedback; and offer negotiations through to onboarding.
  • Submit candidate resumes and coordinate interviews, manage client expectations, and obtain detailed feedback for candidates.
  • Maintain relationships with client contacts before, during, and after candidate placements.
