Job Description:
Our client is a retail company. They seek an Administrative Assistant, Finance & Accounting to join their Queens, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the company credit card program
- Prepare free text invoices for teams and affiliates for ad-hoc charges
- Create and manage assigned accounts in Dynamics 365
- Conduct required research on new customer accounts
- Prepare and maintain Security Agreements and all filings for retailers
- Produce financial reports required by the department
- Gather shipments arriving and related payments to brokers
- Handle correspondence to and from the Accounting department
- Answer telephones and transfer calls
- Coordinate special events, meetings, and seminars
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 1+ years of administrative experience
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Able to handle tasks with discretion
- Strong Excel skills (V lookups, Pivots, Macros)
- Skilled in Dynamics and MS Office
