Reporting to the Investigations Manager for NORTAM, the Regional Security Investigator will oversee all security investigations related matters for an assigned region in the United States.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Ensure investigations involving thefts or suspected thefts, significant violations of law, security related incidents involving employees, information security breaches, threats of violence to workforce, significant product count variances, risks across business groups, undercover investigations and other highly sensitive matters are thoroughly and appropriately investigated and conduct interviews when appropriate.
Partner with respective stakeholders to effectively deal with internal and external threats, workplace violence, and crisis situations in which emergency response is required
Drive strategies and process improvements to ultimately reduce financial loss to the business
Review all losses to determine root causes and develop procedures to prevent and reduce recurrences.
Develop strategic relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement, and enlist support when appropriate.
Travel to sites within assigned region to conduct investigations
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor's Degree in intelligence studies, political science, national security, criminal justice, international studies or related field, or equivalent experience.
Five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
Investigations leadership/management experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to both internal and external customers
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance
Excellent problem-solving skills
Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
General knowledge of current Enterprise CCTV and Access Control Systems
Business partnership attitude
Ability to work with peers on a global stage
Basic operational familiarity with MS Office Professional Suite, including intermediate knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to travel up to 50% of time
PREFERRED:
Previous investigative experience with law enforcement
Previous experience working knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules.
Previous experience developing policies, procedures and protocols for investigative standardization and governance.
Experience working in a logistics environment
