Responsibilities: You will support the CLO and Legal Department by providing legal guidance on various transactions, including those involving physician group arrangements, healthcare affiliations and various contracts/ agreements. You will also conduct legal research and perform legal analysis as necessary.
Must-Have Skills:
J.D. from an Accredited Law School and must be in good standing with the FL State Bar
4-7 years of Transactional & Regulatory Health experience
Experience drafting and negotiating various contracts and agreements (including technology contracts, vendor agreements, clinical business systems agreements, and health care contracting, etc.)
Experience with Federal laws and regulations governing Hospital/Facility Licensing and Operation, and the provision of and payment for healthcare services (Stark Law, the Anti-kickback Statute, the Medicare/Medicaid Conditions of Participation, Physician/Physician Group contracting, Medical Staff/Peer Review matters)
