Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Management Analyst for one of our federal clients.

Management Analyst

Subject matter expertise in the functional areas of the Office of Fossil Energy and its programs may be needed during the life of the contract. This is a managerial position level support of work assignments such as reviewing, monitoring, and inspecting the work of other contract personnel, or the supervision of contract personnel. The Management Analyst also works on very complex and/or sensitive issues related to the Performance Work Statement.
  • Provide support to the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) through general supervision of supporting contractors and executing weekly/monthly reporting requirements.
  • Assist with the execution of the Internal Control program within the Office of Budget and Financial Management (OBFM) by meeting annual deliverable requirements as outlined by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123.
  • Assist in providing Executive Correspondence actions such as Congressional Questions for the Record (QFR) or FECM audit inquiries.
  • Support the OBFM Director with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining weekly task trackers, and recording meeting notes as necessary.
  • Assist with various budget formulation and execution tasks, as needed.
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
  • Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge.
  • Commitment to providing the best service and solutions possible to meet client's mission needs.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with the A-123 AMERICA system is a bonus.

Requirements

Education/Experience
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience that is relevant and directly related to managing and expertise level is required.
  • Knowledge of Federal, DOE, and the Office of Fossil Energy is desirable.
