Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administration (80%)
Support the CEO and CFO in communications, PowerPoint presentation and Excel chart preparations, and other administrative tasks
Manage corporate record books and filing systems (SharePoint, etc.)
Troubleshoot equipment/phone/network issue
Order office supplies and kitchen/bath items as needed
WA state notary license a plus, but not required (CVC will pay licensure fees if qualified)
Accounting Assistant (20%)
Issue invoices, record transactions, maintain schedules, and reconcile select general ledger accounts under the supervision of the Corporate Controller
Manage office expenses; initiate bill payments at least twice monthly
Prepare the weekly cash position report
Assist in the preparation of our quarterly reporting package and its distribution to management
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Skills & Knowledge
Strong organizational skills, efficient time management and attention to detail.
Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with Sage a plus.
Flexible; able to pivot quickly as needed to support Management and Company initiatives.
Knowledge of basic accounting, modern office methods and procedures, filing, telephone techniques, and office equipment, as well as English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Ability to perform administrative/clerical duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.
Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability; owns projects and tasks through to completion while always being one step ahead.
A friendly demeanor, ability to communicate in a positive, professional tone and maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers and the general public and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
Enjoys learning and takes initiative to do tasks outside of the job description because you take pride in things running smoothly.
Education
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, and 2-3 years of related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
