This job requires a person who remains strategic and tactical, professional, organized, detail and task oriented, as well as precise, thorough, and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field technicians, project managers, and subcontractors, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with company standards.

Project Management:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of field projects within budget and timeline constraints, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Resource Management:
  • Effectively allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements and timelines.

Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures, ensuring that work is performed to the highest industry standards and client expectations.

Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure all field operations personnel and subcontractors adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Client Communication:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during project execution, maintaining open and effective communication to address any concerns and provide updates.

Budget Control:
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and provide accurate financial reporting to upper management.

Vendor and Subcontractor Management:
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement, create and implement best practices, and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in field operations management in the physical and electronic security industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of security and technology systems is a plus.
  • This position may require travel to project sites as needed.

  • Security Clearances: This position requires a DOD Top Secret security clearance. Convergint Federal will sponsor the level of clearance required. However, it will be your responsibility to obtain and maintain your required level of clearance.
