General Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all financial operations of the Firm
Process all bank transactions for the Firm - wires, ACH, internal bank transfers
Calculate owner compensation estimates and work with Management Committee to review and adjust estimates
Prepare compensation analyses related to lawyer on-boarding
Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
Work with Management Committee and Finance Team for annual billable rate increases and notices
Qualifications you bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree required - additional certifications a plus (MBA, CPA or CLM, for example)
7-10 plus years of demonstrated success and leadership in law firm financial management
Strong computer and technical skills required, high level of comfort with technology (high proficiency with Excel required; Coyote Analytics experience preferred)
Ability to learn quickly and strong ability to problem solve and figure out answers if unknown
Strong organizational skills to ensure matters are handled timely and do not fall through the cracks
Experience leading, planning, and managing in a client-oriented setting and leading the finance and accounting team to consistently meet priorities and goals
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with multi-state issues and PTET preferred
