Responsabilities: • Oversee asset optimization of North American asset portfolio • Identify physical and financial off-take opportunities with wholesale energy market participants • Report trading activities to the North American risk committee. • Manage existing hedge positions and adjust when necessary • Utilize FTR/ARR markets to hedge basis exposure. • Manage risks and oversee settlement of hedging program • Develop and maintain business relationships with wholesale energy market participants • Assess and respond to market trends • Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements: • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in U.S power marketing and trading. • Experience evaluating and structuring fixed-price swaps and other financially-settled hedge products including put options, zero-cost collars and swaptions • Intimate knowledge of energy market dynamics and the ability to stay current with changing technologies, regulations and trends influencing the continued adoption of renewable energy • Asset backed trading knowledge essential • Knowledge of battery storage is a plus • Knowledge of REC markets is a plus • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, MBA or advance degree a plus • Have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving recor
