The Vice President of Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the financial strategy of the company. Strategic Direction:
Develop and execute a clearly defined financial strategy to support consistent business growth.
Lead financial efforts companywide, fostering collaboration and teamwork across departments.

Executive Leadership:
Serve as a key advisor to the executive team, providing financial insights and guidance.

Financial Management:
Drive the budgeting and forecasting process, incorporating key business drivers and market trends.
Prepare accurate and insightful financial reports to support informed decision-making.
Provide financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.
Assist in structuring and negotiating financial terms of transactions.
Monitor financial performance against targets and provide timely insights to the executive team.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls. .
Develop financial models to support scenario planning and risk assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
Experience working with lower middle market private equity backed portfolio firms is a plus.
Proven experience (8+ years) in progressively responsible finance roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position.
The candidate that accepts the position will report to and collaborate with the current CFO, who intends to retire in the next two years.
Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax and compliance, accounting principles, and best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
