We are currently hiring for a Small Business Director of Finance/Controller for an awesome start-up company in Reno! We are looking for someone who is proactive and can be a strategic asset to take the company to the next level. Experience in the manufacturing industry a plus! Responsibilities:
- Oversee cash management, financial report writing, and accounting functions.
- Manage corporate accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Utilize premium skills such as SOX and IFRS knowledge for financial accuracy.
- Collaborate with teams to implement financial strategies and forecasting.
- Utilize relevant skills in financial software like QuickBooks and Sage for efficient financial management.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in financial management and accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and IFRS
- Experience with regulatory reporting and balance sheet reconciliation
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
