Our client, a financial institution in San Antonio, TX, is currently seeking a Director of Collections to join their robust collections team. The incumbent will directly manage two managers and indirectly manage a consumer collections staff of over 100. This team covers all consumer products collections, mortgages, consumer loans, auto loans.
Responsibilities
Manage consumer collections team
Manage the policies, procedures, and processes that exist across the collections lifecycle
Lead collection program development and implementation
Maintain compliance with federal, state and local regulations
Collaborate with external attorneys and consultants
Recommend new initiatives to improve collections team
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in a consumer collections environment
