Position Summary: The EHS Coordinator position is accountable for the ISO functions for the manufacturing location and will train to serve in a back-up roll to the EHS Manager.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Work with the team to develop environmental procedures
Responsible for overall administration of plant ISO procedures and manuals. Schedule committee meetings
Track required data and graph and trend those related to ISO objectives and targets.
Help develop and implement ideas relating to waste reduction and cost savings.
Maintain environmental compliance tracking sheet. Maintain all updates to manual, provide document control, file IAW ISO requirements and properly manage obsolete information.
Conduct thorough investigations of non-conformances using the required corrective action form and root cause analysis
Work with EMS teams to develop preventative actions and maintain continuous improvement log
Participate with the EHS Manager in conducting Internal Audits, Management reviews and third-party audits.
Ensure regulatory compliance of all local, state, and federal laws and submit required data to third party for processing of regulatory reports.
Manage Communication Centers and help with IT Support
Output information needed to office and production staff (memos, printouts, etc)
Train in Safety to be EHS Managers back-up.
Qualifications preferred:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 year degree in environmental field or experience as an ISO Coordinator or EHS Coordinator a plus
Knowledgeable with IT Support
Knowledge of ISO 14001
Strong computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
Possess a safety mindset
Be willing to work the occasional Saturday for inventory purposes
Have a high level of organization
Understanding of locale, state and federal environmental regulations is a plus
Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to think on your feet
Understanding of manufacturing principles and construction methods
Willingness to work inside and outside, as dictated by ISO requirements
Willingness to participate in on- and off-site training activities as requested by/through the General Manager and/or Home Office Director of EHS
Continually seek personal and professional improvement through reading and participating in external environmental/ISO training courses
Able to pass a background check and Have a good driving record
Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally use ladders / steps to enter and exit homes. • Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc. • Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others. • Works in an environment that includes exposure to extreme temperatures. • Work primarily involves sitting / standing, may involve a moderate amount of bending / stretching.
