With this new concept / product, consumers will be able to take in all 33 essential nutrients needed per meal, in a well-balanced manner.

Given the success thus far in Japan we are preparing to expand this business internationally. The new business will incorporate local resources, including supply chain and production.

Job Description:

Reporting to the head of Marketing, the Sr. Marketing Manager will execute in all areas of the marketing function. The candidate will have a strong background in CPG and will be responsible for the implementation of communication and brand development tactics and a key contributor to the development of the underlying strategies under the direction of the CMO. This is a great growth opportunity to launch an entirely new brand responsible for all levels of the marketing funnel, agency management and the development of consumer messaging that starts with trial generation all the way through to brand advocacy.

Media and Communications
  • Accountable for all Media and PR events/activities/activations to drive a successful launch in the target market.
  • Accountable for development and coherence of all consumer, shopper and trade activities and consistency with defined marketing and brand strategy.
  • Manages the marketing budget and is responsible for launch plans in the target market with a bias towards the deployment of working media to drive upper, middle, and lower funnel conversion.
  • Accountable for building, executing, tracking, and reporting insights for media plan across Streaming, Social, Search/Banner, OOH, in-store promotional materials etc.
  • Jointly works with Agency, HQ Marketing category and brand teams to manage relationships, execute, track, and report insights for media plans across influencers, , digital platforms, PR etc.
  • Works with sales team to integrate retail promo plans and be accountable for consolidated reporting and effectiveness.
  • Develops trade marketing and brand programs for sampling planning, secondary placements, and merchandising.
  • Owns the monthly business planning meetings for the marketing function and collaborates with HQ functional teams to provide quality input and continuous feedback from markets.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive digital marketing communication strategies with agency partners aligned with overall business goals.

Brand Development
  • Develops brand strategies and executional tactics to drive awareness, consideration, conversion, and loyalty in our core consumer group to build from a targeted market out to a national launch.
  • Leads market research projects including quantitative and qualitative studies and leverages insights in partnership with Marketing Agencies and HQ Category and Brand Teams, to incorporate into the business plan.
  • Through collaboration with HQ and leading our Marketing Agency partners, oversees the development and execution of visually compelling and innovative marketing materials. As a key player in the creative process, collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of impactful and cohesive campaigns.
  • Understand the needs of our consumer and collaborates with Culinary R&D to develop products including flavor extensions on existing line as well as concept creation from scratch, that solve for those needs and align with brand vision and values.
  • Own product development projects from development to commercialization, with a focus on scale up of bench formulas to full scale launch, both in B2C and B2B channels.
  • Leverages consumer insights and primary research to identify opportunities for improvement among existing products and work on various renovation projects.
  • Identify and negotiate with suitable packaging material partners and third-party co-packers, taking into consideration supply chain and cost management.
  • Work with partners to commercialize new concepts from trial runs to full-scale production.
  • Develop COGS and Pricing Sensitivity models to determine product pricing, working collaboratively with the HQ Brand Development team and R&D to determine viability.
  • Work cross-functionally to organize consumer testing of products and ensure any refinements are made prior to market launch.

?Education/Experience

?BS degree in Business or a related field

?5+ years of directly related marketing experience

?Proven track record of success within CPG (Food) company and/or frozen or refrigerated industry

?Salary

Base Salary: $70,000?$110,000 ?+ Bonus
