Job Description:

Oakleaf Partnership is partnered with premium aviation brand in their search for a Payroll Manager/Senior Payroll manager to join their best-in-class payroll function. This will be a fast-paced role working supporting their US employees in addition to ad hoc projects implementing global entities.

Role

The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and directly line manages four Payroll Specialists. You will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the payroll functions for the organisations Americas entities, ensuring timely and accurate pay processing in compliance with government regulations. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments and requires effective management of relationships and deliverables.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Managing a multi-entity, multi-state, full cycle semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll process.
  • Driving sustainable and scalable process efficiencies and strengthening internal controls.
  • Overseeing the team's daily workflow and priorities, and providing professional and technical guidance, and mentoring.
  • Overseeing and supporting period-end payroll and year adjustments and reporting, and all quarterly and end of year payroll tax filings (e.g., W-2's).
  • Reviewing payroll reports, reconciliations, analysis, and other deliverables.
  • Managing timecard process for approximately 1500 employees. Reviewing accuracy and completeness of overtime, vacation, sick, and leave.
  • Ensuring EE 401(k) elections and ER contributions are properly reflected in ADP, Fidelity, and the general ledger.
  • Processing adjustments and allowances such as: garnishments, supplemental wages, and stipends.
  • Preparation and multi-state tax filing.

We are keen to hear from experienced Payroll professionals with ambition and drive. These individuals will need to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate environment.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years of full payroll processing cycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or Accounting or related studies.
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax regulations.
  • Must understand payroll processing and accounts payable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent coaching and developing skills.

ADP WorkForceNow, ADP Workforce Manager, Tier 1 ERP (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent), and MS Excel and MS Word experience preferred
