Responsibilities:
Developing and training machine learning models using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.
Stay current with advancements in machine learning by actively researching and interpreting relevant scientific and technical journals.
Utilize agile development methodologies to ensure efficient project execution and continuous improvement.
Processing and analyzing large datasets of Arabic text.
Partner with a team of engineers and researchers to translate technical requirements into user-friendly specifications, fostering clear communication and collaboration to achieve the project's objective of promoting Arabic language literacy.
Building and maintaining production-quality code for the project.
Requirements:
Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in a field like Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or Data Science, with a focus on building and deploying machine learning models for text analysis.
Fluency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) is a must.
2+ years of experience working on NLP or corpus linguistics projects.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with tools like Docker and AWS.
