Akkodis is seeking a Application Development Manager for a Direct Hire job with a client in Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid), Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in API's Integration, WMS, EDI, Boomi would be a big plus.
Salary Range: $140k-$150k/Annum; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
BA/BS or equivalent, preferably in the field in Computer Science, MIS, IS/IT, or related field.
3 + years of management experience.
10+ years of software engineering experience and a track record of delivering results.
Knowledge of Warehousing and Transportation integration messaging.
Significant experience in different communication methodologies, including EDI X12, XML, Restful APIs and iDOC,
Experience with an Integration solution, ideally, but not limited to, Boomi (primary), CLEO and Harmony
Working knowledge of IT concepts as it relates to requirements gathering, design, development, code review, unit testing, integration testing and deployment.
Must be able to lead a geographically diverse team of between 4 to 10 internal and contract associates.
Experience supporting a 24x7 operation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to motivate team members and lead by example.
Skills and Background
Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies including scrum, Kanban, story estimation and sprint planning.
Experience with software management tools like Jira and WorkFront.
