In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Additional Skills:
Certified Pega engineer, CSSA (Certified Senior Systems Architect) minimum, LSA (Lead System Architect) preferred, must be version 7.x or higher or relevant recent experience if certification pre-dates this version
Financial services experience relating to business workflows involving money movement strongly desired, similar applicable experience in insurance can also be considered.
Hands on practical experience with the Pega Automated Unit Test framework strongly desired.
Hands on practical experience with the Pega Peer Review Component strongly desired
Java engineer with hands on development experience familiar with full SDLC exposure across design, build, unit test (not manual testing) and automation testing leveraging frameworks such as Selenium Web Driver
Oracle PLSQL experience
EPL (Enterprise Pipeline) experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, uDeploy and supporting tools
Experience working in a high performing scrum team following Agile principles required
