Position: Data Engineer with MongoDB & Oracle Exp
Location: Lake Mary, FL (3 days onsite/week)
Duration: FULLTIME.
Job Description:
Data Engineer with 6 to 12 experience
Mandatory Knowledge of MongoDB and Oracle database
Java Hadoop and its appropriate components eg HBase Pig Hive Sqoop Flume Oozie etc
Experienced in developing big data applications in using JavaJ2EE
Ingest data into MongoDB or any no SQL columnar databases
Expertise in application data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices among data platforms for modernization
They must be self directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams systems and products
Responsibilities for Data Analyst Engineer
Assemble large complex data sets that meet functional nonfunctional business requirements
Responsible for requirement gathering ingestion maintenance improvement cleansing and manipulation of and transforming data
Automating manual processes and data delivery
Capable of understanding Big data infrastructure required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from a variety of data sources into Columnar databases such as MongoDB
Work with stakeholders to assist with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Basic understanding Agile framework ability to work in Scrum Kanban mode
Build processes supporting data transformation metadata dependency and own workload management will be add on
