Job Description:
Element6's client is seeking an IT Technician to join their team in Milwaukee, WI.
Key Responsibilities:PC Imaging & Patching:
- Update PC imaging for new and existing devices.
- Utilize tools to automate as much patching as possible, with some tasks requiring semi-manual intervention.
Hardware Support:
- Set up hardware, test and evaluate computer equipment.
- Perform repairs on computers and peripherals as needed.
Software Support:
- Install and configure software and drivers.
- Analyze and resolve software functionality issues.
Networking:
- Install and manage LAN/WAN and other networks.
- Troubleshoot network problems to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a desktop support, help desk, or similar IT technician role.
- Strong knowledge of hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with network installation and management.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work nontraditional hours with flexibility for early and late shifts.
- Clean background to pass necessary checks.
Schedule:- Majority of the shifts will be during nonstandard hours (e.g., early mornings or late evenings) to minimize disruption to customer experience.
