DESCRIPTION
Develop and maintain the Performance Specification and System Requirements Document
Develop and maintain the Requirements Verification and Testing Matrix
Decompose system level to subsystem level requirements ensuring traceability to 100% test coverage
Manage system level problem reports covering the three subsystems; flight control, digital map, and mission system. This is managed in an Access data base.
Manage program action item list. This includes investigating issues and inquiring on progress toward closing problems from others
Follow the F-18 AGCAS specification change process including peer reviews for requirement changes
Support project leadership for program reviews and technical interchange meetings
Support Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) program needs including managing the RCAF action item list
Upload files onto the F-18 AGCAS Teams including problem report data base, presentations, program action item list, RCAF action list, problem report walkthrough briefings, specification change requests, and other times
Support program meetings
Weekly Engineering Tag Up: Prepare and present charts for program action items including requirement changes, problem report status overview, and RCAF action item status
Problem report walkthrough: Prepare and lead a walkthrough of all problem reports. This includes maintaining metrics of progress resolving problem reports.
Program reviews and technical interchange meetings
Weekly AGCAS working group meeting
Prepare and deliver monthly report summarizing activity on the project
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Degree: BS EE or Systems Engineering desired
Years of Experience: 5+ years of NAVAIR Engineering Experience
F/A-18 experience preferred
NAVAIR SETR Process desired
Navy acquisition experience desired
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time
LEVEL OF CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Secret Eligible
AMOUNT OF TRAVEL: Minimal
