Job Summary
The Drafter is responsible for creating and revising part and assembly drawings using CAD and maintaining data management systems. Collaborate with all levels of the organization regarding mechanical project work such as drawings, specifications, and technical related activities.
Job Functions
Generates new or revises existing drawings and specifications for electric motors, components, tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment layout.
Calculates material requirements, compiles material lists, and maintains specification files.
Performs all work within our ISO requirements and will participate in internal audits as required.
Interprets drawings and specifications using precision measuring instruments
Ability to problem solve, use scientific principles and creativity to troubleshoot problems
Qualifications
Technical/Mechanical Drafting degree or professional experience in Mechanical Drafting utilizing 2D and 3D CAD programs
Proven computer literacy and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Able to use small hand tools and measuring devices
Team player with strong project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
