Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production systems and processes to ensure efficiency and high product quality:
Investigate and implement necessary manufacturing improvements
Monitor the progress of jobs and provide necessary direction
Facilitate training sessions to internal employees as needed
Coordinate the implementation of ECNs, internally or customer-driven
Update product related documentation and instruction sheets as required
Work cooperatively with the Program Manager on new product launches
Ensure state and federal legal compliance regarding safety and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Experience
College Diploma or University Degree in Engineering
5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning + Tolerancing
Thorough knowledge of TS 16949/ISO 14001
