Role Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy advanced real-time perception and deep learning algorithms for autonomous vehicles, including tasks like object detection, tracking, semantic segmentation, and visual odometry.
Establish and monitor key performance metrics to influence vehicle behavior.
Experiment with and integrate new sensors and configurations into the perception stack using C++.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the reliability and performance of the entire system.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing perception algorithms on robotic platforms, using lidar and cameras.
Proficiency in ROS 2 or similar robotics middleware.
Strong programming skills in C++ and experience with deep learning frameworks such as Pytorch, JAX, or Tensorflow.
Advanced degree (BS/MS/PhD) in Computer Science or a related field.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, small-team environment, taking initiative to solve problems across various disciplines.
Capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
