VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

Designing infrastructure, grading sites, mitigating stormwater flows - you've done it all well. You've even mentored some of the next generation of engineers. Are you ready for the next step in your career? The Vice President of Engineering leads a team, sets standards, helps set policy, and has a lot of fun doing it. Main-Land is a fun loving, close knit, consulting firm that has a small company feel but has the horsepower to tackle large scale private and public sector site civil engineering and development, land planning, water and wastewater utilities, road and infrastructure projects, and a whole lot more. This position is offered at either our Livermore Falls or Falmouth, Maine office.

Main-Land provides full-service consulting to our clients, including surveying, environmental mapping and study, geotechnical engineering, site civil design, permitting, bidding and construction management, and inspection.

Preferred certifications and skills include:
  • Maine Professional Registration - or ability to obtain registration within 6 months
  • 8 - 12 years of experience - management lead responsibility for site civil and development projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools.
  • Regulatory permit process and public presentation experience
  • Construction administration and inspection field experience
