Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Advisor to join our team! The Scheduling Advisor will be a key member of the Project Controls Office within the Grid Scale Renewables Team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional internal and external project teams to manage, train, and maintain project scheduling processes, procedures, and best practices throughout the entire project life cycle. You will also lead a team of schedulers/planners while managing your own portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in project scheduling and control disciplines.
  • Maintain ownership of the development and continuous improvement of scheduling policies, standards, and guides to optimize project schedule deliverables.
  • Independently monitor the portfolio's schedule health and viability metrics, making improvements as required.
  • Oversee a team of internal and external resources to ensure continuous support of the project portfolio through its lifecycle.
  • Proactively investigate and understand project-related risks/issues to provide solutions.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to project scope, contract requirements, schedule progress, and performance.
  • Routinely produce, assess, and distribute weekly and monthly project status reports.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Project or Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or similar certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a project scheduler/ planner is required.
  • Must have working experience with Microsoft Project Professional and Project Web App (PWA) or Primavera P6.
  • Must have Microsoft Excel experience creating customized schedule analysis tools using data import, sorting and filtering, pivot tables, graphs, charts, and custom formulas (such as VLOOKUP), etc.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) key performance indicators (KPI's) and S-Curve calculation and analysis is preferred.
