We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Advisor to join our team! The Scheduling Advisor will be a key member of the Project Controls Office within the Grid Scale Renewables Team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional internal and external project teams to manage, train, and maintain project scheduling processes, procedures, and best practices throughout the entire project life cycle. You will also lead a team of schedulers/planners while managing your own portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in project scheduling and control disciplines.
Maintain ownership of the development and continuous improvement of scheduling policies, standards, and guides to optimize project schedule deliverables.
Independently monitor the portfolio's schedule health and viability metrics, making improvements as required.
Oversee a team of internal and external resources to ensure continuous support of the project portfolio through its lifecycle.
Proactively investigate and understand project-related risks/issues to provide solutions.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to project scope, contract requirements, schedule progress, and performance.
Routinely produce, assess, and distribute weekly and monthly project status reports.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Project or Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or similar certification is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience working as a project scheduler/ planner is required.
Must have working experience with Microsoft Project Professional and Project Web App (PWA) or Primavera P6.
Must have Microsoft Excel experience creating customized schedule analysis tools using data import, sorting and filtering, pivot tables, graphs, charts, and custom formulas (such as VLOOKUP), etc.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) key performance indicators (KPI's) and S-Curve calculation and analysis is preferred.
