The Project Manager role within the corporate engineering team is a pivotal position that supports the achievement of North America's supply chain capital objectives. This professional will lead a portfolio of Capital Projects, ensuring the alignment with long-range strategic plant planning, meticulous project budgeting, and stringent cost controls. Compliance management, detailed project scheduling, and providing operational support are also key responsibilities. The Project Manager will champion the development and implementation of project work processes and oversee third-party project support. Key duties include:
- Leading large capital plant projects through a front-end loaded project work process (PWP), which encompasses multiple project phases and the development of deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. This often involves the supervision of third-party engineering support, equipment vendors, and contractors.
- Collaborating with Supply Chain and Corporate Engineering teams to foster a culture focused on environmental stewardship, employee health and safety, legal compliance, and positive community relations.
- Maintaining rigorous control over projects by consistently tracking and managing discipline performance, budgetary progress, adherence to schedules, and upholding quality standards.
Qualifications:
BA's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Process, or Mechanical)
5-7 years' experience in Capital expenditure project management with industrial construction/engineering projects
2+ years of process engineering or packaging engineering experience
Rate: $115k-$130k/yr. with 10% bonus
