Job Description:

Senior Network Engineer/Consultant

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite)

Client: Federal

Duration: Initial 1 year with the possibility of extensions

Interview: 2 rounds of Webcam

Location: Require the engineer/consultant to be onsite in downtown Brooklyn.

Work hours: 8 hours a day. Generally day shift but late night changes.

Contract length: 1 Year

Experience: 8-10year in a similar role

Profiles:

Senior Network Engineer:

Mandatory skills: ARISTA, BGP, YAML, Ansible scripting,

PaloAlto firewalls, F5 load balancers,

VMware NSX and AVI load balancer

Through knowledge of layer-2 switch. VLAN, VTP, VPC, VSS..etc

Through knowledge of all layer-3 routing protocols.

Must have very strong knowledge of BGP routing protocol.

Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and Switches

Desired skills:

If a candidate has good knowledge of Arista and CVP it will be a great addition.

Industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE

SDWAN deployment experience

F5 Load balancer configurations

• Cisco Meraki Wireless deployment.
