Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Onboarding Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will combine technical accounting expertise with strong customer success acumen, particularly in the SMB sector. This role requires an understanding of bookkeeping tools and integrations to help clients seamlessly adopt our solutions. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Uplinq's products can meet their business objectives.
Things you will do:
Own overall relationship with clients, which includes managing onboarding, implementation, training, increasing adoption, ensuring retention, and high levels of customer satisfaction
Establish a trusted and strategic accounting advisor relationship to help drive continued value of our products and services
Communicate effectively to understand customer needs, maximize retention and growth, and communicate learnings
Follow accounting SOPs
Maintain existing customer success metrics and data as directed
Serve as day-to-day contact for clients, building trust and rapport while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices, and documenting them
Review the customer journey, identifying how it's supported, taking a consultative approach in helping clients overcome issues and understand our platform and product
The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way
Exceptional organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an onboarding or customer success role, preferably within the SMB sector
Financial Acumen: Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, with proficiency in software tools such as QuickBooks Online
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively
Customer Support: Demonstrated success in onboarding new clients and ensuring a smooth transition and integration process
Technical Proficiency: Experience with SaaS products and software integrations
Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects efficiently
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
