Position Summary
Working under minimal supervision, manage the UW activities of Insured Solutions PEO/MGA. This includes ensuring that Underwriting standards of Vensure and the partner Carriers are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in Carrier/Parent audits.
Ensure that field UWs are adhering to standards and submitting quality accounts and submission information to the carriers.
Regular participation in parent company UW Council.
Referral of accounts from field outside of their authority levels. Refer accounts beyond authority to Vensure Mgt.
Exclusive UW and pricing responsibilities for large deductible policies.
Close working relationships with Vensure and IS Loss Control
Training sessions, as needed
Special Projects, as assigned
Reporting to IS and Vensure Sr UW Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Field UWs report to this individual.
Pricing and UW audits of field Underwriters.
Education & Experience
5-10 years of Workers Compensation background. Preferably with/within PEO organizations.
Experience working within MGA and/or Carrier environments.
