WHO WE NEED
As a Senior Cost Analyst you will provide strong financial support to the entire global organization, which includes the manufacturing, supply chain, R & D, and commercial teams. In addition, you will be responsible for providing global business support for forecasting, analysis and reporting.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities will include:
Provide financial support to the leaders of operations across the globe
Contribute cost calculations in support of commercial pricing
Drive consistent reporting and tracking of productivity
Drive transactional and process consistency across all global plants
Assist in KPI/scorecard reporting
Perform analysis of manufacturing variances
Complete monthly financial close for all global entities and ensure proper financial statement presentation
Other duties as assigned
Your knowledge/skills/experience:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience
3-5 years overall finance experience with 2 years of plant financial or operational experience
Working knowledge of Oracle or ERP systems
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Proven ability to effectively influence others at various levels of the organization
Solid knowledge of plant cost accounting and analysis
Strong decision support and modeling skills
Solid planning and analysis skills for Annual Operating Planning process, forecasts, analyses, etc.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Minimal travel required 1 - 10 days per year
Work environment is typical of an office setting
