Position Overview:
The COO is the operations leader of the ReNEW Manufacturing organization and is a key member of the business leadership team who will provide overall strategic direction for the entire operations with a heavy focus on sales and service support and optimization. The COO will play a critical role in optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing client satisfaction, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills and a track record of successfully managing complex projects and teams in an entrepreneurial environment.
Role Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Operational Excellence: Implement best practices and processes to streamline operations, improve productivity, and maximize profitability across all departments. Implement, monitor, and refine KPI's at each shop location and corporate level.Oversee that all ERP's are used to their capability to measure performance of each shop.
Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services that exceed expectations.
Team Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to department heads and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement innovative technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and project delivery capabilities.
Quality: Oversee quality at each location. Drive required certifications and maintained on an on-going basis. ISO implemented across all shops and other certifications (i.e., ITAR, CMMC, etc.)
M&A Activities: assist with diligence and integrating new acquisitions. Integrating Renew Playbook into existing and new locations
Travel to shop locations frequently
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Strong business acumen with a track record of driving operational excellence, financial performance, and sustainable growth, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and stakeholders.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, standards and best practices.
Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
Solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
