This position will report primarily into the Residential Equipment Purchasing Department.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing and maintaining partnerships with Shearer Supply residential equipment vendors.
Maintaining balanced inventory while staying within a given budget across 32 warehouses companywide for assigned product families.
Negotiating pricing and payment terms with third-party residential equipment vendors.
Coordinating the delivery of incoming residential equipment shipments
Assisting the distribution of inventory throughout the company.
Utilizing system reports and inventory KPIs to measure performance.
Working within a small team to accomplish company goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Mathematics
Analytical thought processing
Expert skills in Microsoft Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to negotiate
