We are a rapidly growing organization in the Morristown, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Bookkeeper to join our team of progressive professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day office functionalities and assisting with Accounting duties. Primary responsibilities include general office coordination, assisting the Accounting department with miscellaneous accounting functions, responding to and allocating telephone calls/inquiries, accounts payable, monthly bank statement reconciliations and other office/bookkeeping related duties, as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform basic bookkeeping activities and update the accounting system, such as, accounts payable and bookkeeping
Monthly bank statement reconciliations
Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
Maintain files and records as needed
Support team with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
Job Requirements:
3+ basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and procedures
3+ years of Office Coordination experience in a similar role
Real Estate office or small office experience a plus
Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Professional Suite (MS Excel)
Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
