Position Summary:
Legacy Food Group is seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager to join our team. This role is vital for building and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. You will be responsible for managing supplier programs and negotiating supplier agreements to ensure the best possible terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Collaborate with suppliers to understand their capabilities and align them with company needs.
Monitor supplier performance and work to resolve any issues or conflicts.
Negotiate terms and conditions of supplier agreements.
Implement and manage supplier programs to optimize value and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Prepare reports and analysis on supplier performance and program effectiveness.
Work closely with internal teams to understand requirements and provide support on supplier-related matters.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with supply chain management software is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of the food service industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time to meet with suppliers, attend industry events, and visit company locations as needed.
