Job Description:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to

Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, coordination, and management, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project schedules, and budgets.

Oversees entire project lifecycle, managing critical elements such as design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation.

Track, manage, and approve all contract change orders to ensure project adjustments are handled efficiently.

Assist in managing the daily operations and scheduling for project jobs.

Coordinating multiple installation jobs with General Contractors to meet critical customer and construction deadlines and work with fire marshal's offices to perform final inspection of our work.

Assist in directing our technicians on a day-to-day basis to perform installation jobs according to the scope of work for each job and within established deadlines to complete.

Accounting for the total job material costs, hours on the job and proper billing to our customers to ensure we are meeting profit goals per job.

Keep excellent records of all work performed and seek additional funds to cover change orders to the scope of work as determined while performing the installation.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive project progress/completion reports, ensuring meticulous documentation for future reference and analysis.

Communicate with customers, investigate and resolve issues with management and staff to ensure that customer concerns are immediately addressed.

Take the lead in internal project meetings, oversee projects from start to finish.

Manage vendor relationships throughout the installation.

Ability to work well under pressure and with multiple departments and personnel from each department and be a team player.

Must communicate very well with co-workers and customers.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills.

Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.

Prior experience in a commercial equipment installation business preferred.

Proven ability to oversee an essential business function and meet goals/deadlines.

Ability to function in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Experience working directly with contractors and construction managers is preferred.

Must be very analytical and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Must enjoy talking to customers and have a successful history of developing relationships with customers.

Must be goal oriented and highly motivated to meet department objectives.

Self-Starter with great organization skills, especially time management skills.

Prior experience managing budgets and construction job costing is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering, or construction related field preferred
